2020 Milestones for The Kotton Kaboodle

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

2020 has been a crazy year, but your support for my business has kept me going through all of the good, bad, and challenging times.

I've pulled together a few memorable milestones from this year that I would like to share with you...

First Sale of 2020

My very first sale of 2020 took place on January 29, Toby the Tiger going to Alabama!

Views of 2020

I peaked 25,000 views on my crochet items, just under 300 sales, and over 2,200 favorites.

The fact that my animals made that many people smile makes my day!

Bestseller!

In the summer of 2020, my sister suggested I crochet a whale shark, which in my mind was an obscure and possibly unpopular animal. But I accepted the challenge, and started selling the pattern for this cutie. Little did I know my pattern would gain popularity and sell worldwide, to the US, Japan, the UK, Sweden, and Korea!

I've sold over 100 patterns for Whitney! It earned the "Bestseller" badge on Etsy with almost 800 favorites.

First Custom Order

In the summer of 2020, I also got my first custom order!

The request was for a Gurgi stuffed animal (from Disney's The Black Cauldron). He turned out amazing!

Crochet Design Contest

In November, I participated in an Amigurumi Design Contest (amigurumi is the art of crocheting stuffed animals). I entered my original pattern, Thomas the Turkey. With your help, I gained 716 votes!

It wasn't enough to win, but still... 716! I'm so thankful for the encouragement!

As a little treat for myself, I splurged on some merchandise... a Kotton Kaboodle sweatshirt!

It's a great reminder of the extraordinary journey I've been on in 2020.

Here's a sneak peak of some of the new animals coming to The Kotton Kaboodle on January 1st... 😉

I feel so blessed that my business has grown this much in 2020! This year has brought some troubles, worries, and challenges, but it's also brought good times, business milestones, and wonderful memories. Thank you so much for all of your support and your encouragement!

Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!
